Reliance Power has signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Green Digital to jointly develop a 500 megawatt (MW) solar power plant in Bhutan. Green Digital is owned by Druk Holding and Investments (DHI), the investment arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan. The two companies will jointly develop Bhutan’s largest solar power project through a 50:50 venture entailing a capital outlay of up to ₹2,000 crore under the Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model.

Godrej Properties has bought 14 land parcels across major cities to build housing projects with revenue potential of about ₹26,500 crore in the last fiscal year (FY25) and will continue to acquire more land to grow its business. The land parcels acquired are in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Indore. For business development, real estate developers are buying land outright and also partnering with landowners.Â

A consortium led by TPG, Mavco Investments and former JSW Energy CEO Prashant Jain has sought approval from the fair trade regulator CCI to acquire the onshore wind business of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power. American private equity firm TPG, through its affiliates Peony Properties Pvt Ltd and TPG REGen SG Pte, and Mavco Investments, a private company belonging to select members of the Murugappa family, will acquire the wind power business.
Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund on Monday bought a 6.6 per cent stake in pharmaceutical company Ami Organics for nearly ₹301 crore through open market transactions. According to the block deal data available on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund (Kotak MF) purchased 26.97 lakh shares or 6.59 per cent stake in two tranches in Gujarat-based Ami Organics at an average price of ₹1,115 from Ami Organics promoters Vaghasia Chetankumar Chhaganlal and Nareshkumar Ramjibhai Patel.
