Andhra Pradesh is well-positioned to attract $120 billion in investments over the next one year, with the State Government adopting industry-friendly policies , according to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Andhra Pradesh was emerging as a gateway for investments with a pro-industry ecosystem, aided by a long coast, adequate availability of oil and gas, besides strengths in food-processing and mining, Naidu said, while speaking at the inaugural session of the Investopia Global Andhra Pradesh 2025 held in Vijayawada on Wednesday.

“We are focusing on AI and quantum computing. With the collaboration of IBM, TCS, and L&T, we are establishing Quantum Valley in Andhra Pradesh. Quantum computing operations will start in AP by January 1, 2026. If America has a Silicon Valley, India will have Quantum Valley in Amaravati. We are going to use technology in all walks of life,” the Chief Minister said.

The state government was totally online and had made 575 services available through WhatsApp governance, he said, adding: “By 15th August, no citizen will need to go to any government office. Once you invest in AP, it will be our responsibility to make it successful. All permissions will be given online, with no need to go to any office.’‘

With a focus on strengthening India-UAE economic ties, the summit focused on a variety of issues, including AP-UAE partnership for expanding business across borders, powering digital economies through AP-UAE collaboration, AI and data centres, and the Indo-UAE food corridor through collaboration in agri-tech, food security, and processing.
